I wrote a book on trichome dense cannabis. In there I explain the proper way to set up a deep water culture system and maintain it throughout flower. You won't find that information elsewhere on the net very easily.

As for misting, I would only recommend that during veg for cannabis. I don't recommend spraying anything on cannabis during flower formation.
