The Locals Are The Best Tour Guide- Make Your Next Travel Memorable With Cool Cousins
Nicholas shook Esq. with a couple of friends visited Nigeria briefly six years ago from Las Vegas to learn about the culture and way of life of Nigerians. I was opportuned to be their tour guide and their experiences were worthwhile.
As a resident of Calabar, with a firsthand knowledge of beautiful places to go, mouth-watering restaurants to eat at, historical places to visit, it wasn’t a herculean task being their tour guide.
The Calabar museum also tops the list for a tourist because it houses artifacts and documents that date back to the colonial period, including materials that have to do with the trans-Atlantic slave trade that took place in Nigeria
Nick was thrilled when we visited tinapa (a business and leisure resort). He loved the cool sea breeze and the fun created by children surfing the lazy river. We made several other trips to good bars, restaurants and Nick enjoyed every bit of it. These were some of the African dishes he enjoyed while on his short stay.
There are so many other amazing places like Calabar to visit.
It’s unfortunate that life presents us with a single lifetime to make these trips. The world is beautiful with so many breath-taking landscapes and magnificent cities scattered all over. And only the natives of that region have privileged information that could be cherished by tourists. If only there is proper access to this useful information, tourist would always look forward to making such trips more often yearly.
As human beings need arises to make trips due to circumstances surrounding our everyday life, some people make trips for the fun of it.The humans’ basic instinct would be to surf the web and read extensively about the “location” on the internet and assume these facts displayed are authentic. These searches have been disappointing in many cases, as they may not reveal the true information about a place.
There is always something interesting to look forward to on a trip when you are furnished with the right information by a resident (local) of the country. Every moment in a trip is supposed to be cherished, the dramatic landscapes that will fuel every traveler's imagination and inspire them to recount their encounter to their friends when they return to base.
Cool cousin is a VC-backed travel company launched in 2016 is the solution to the problems the unfortunate travelers face. It has been tested and recommended by over 500,000 travelers and it is on its way to becoming a decentralized travel agency for Millennial and Gen Z travelers. Cool cousin would make travelers have the best vacation ever during their trip at affordable premium prices. Cool cousin will enable Locals to create a profile on the cool cousin platform and garnish it with the right information which would be useful to travelers who intend to visit that location.
Cool cousin has given travelers an opportunity to earn from their cherished moments and locals an opportunity to earn from their knowledge and the help they render to travelers. Cool cousin introduced CUZ token which can be earned by the locals (COUSINS) when they answer questions or make recommendations about a location and also make useful contributions on their profile to travelers. This is very cool because a cousin could be better informed than another cousin, an interested traveler who finds any of the cousins interesting could go the extra mile to hire the cousin as a tour guide if the person can avail the opportunity.
Of course, the traveler will also earn CUZ tokens when a review of the place is made on the profile of the cousin. This is a win-win for both parties.
The 21st century has brought about many advances in the block chain. Traveling is no exception to that thanks to cool cousin. The CUZ token is already on sale, started in March 2018 with a total of 300,000,000 CUZ which could be grabbed at 1 ETH= 3,770 CUZ. A minimum purchase of 0.1 ETH could be done.
Travel and Tourism are one of the largest and fastest growing industries in the world. In 2016, travel and tourism contributed $7.6 trillion to the global economy, making up about 10.6% of the world’s total GDP that year. Millennial known for their traveling prowess would finally spend less of their hard earned income on travels.
Statistics show that millennial average travel expense is $4,624
With a perfect touch by cool cousin, Millennial would strengthen bonds with locals and gain new knowledge about the places they visited and most importantly connect with their inner self and with nature at a reduced cost.

Cool cousin is another example how technology can make our lifes easier and lazier :)
I've one off-topic question. You wrote in the past about Effect.ai if im not mistaken. I noticed that they are listed only on switcheo.network exchange.
Do you know anything about this exchange? And personally would you invest in this crypto at current stage?
ps. Good luck with @originalworks again :)
Cheers
Piotr
@crypto.Piotr thanks for loving another article of mine, means I don't suck so much at crypto lol.
Honestly, I don't know much about the switcheo.network exchange. But if I eventually read about it, I will always give you feedback.
Thanks for going through this. I'm grateful
