India could have a powerful effect on the future growth of crypto

Blockchain lessons in schools, cryptocurrency courses at universities, coffee purchases using digital currencies, creation of “crypto islands” and “crypto states”... All of this can be seen as the first timid steps down the path to the “tokenization” of modern life compared to the fresh initiative from the Indian government, which is seriously considering making cryptocurrency a means of payment for trips on the subway and using blockchain technology in various loyalty programs (for example, for the purchase of airplane tickets).

With its 1.3 billion inhabitants, India is the second most populous country in the world. Just imagine the potential growth that the crypto community could see over a very short period if India actually begins to use crypto tokens in the government and public sector! Only China could have a more powerful effect, but matters are still very complicated there. So, let’s keep our fingers crossed for India. This is really good news for the industry.
