IBM has salt crystal sized blockchain computers in development
At the Blockchain Expo Global in London, Block 20 Report Agent Crypta caught up with the EU Blockchain Marketing Manager of IBM, Bobby Eland. In this interview Bobby gives a hint at the future of hardware based blockchain solutions provided by IBM:
Crypta: There is a blockchain based mobile phone being launched by Sirin Labs... could we ever see IBM releasing a computer that is likewise... specifically designed for interacting with dapps, blockchians or cryptocurrencies?
Bobby: We have already almost seen it... we have dedicated servers today running blockchain nodes... they are the most cryptographically secure platforms you could ever want... We also are seeing developments of very tiny little computers... the size of salt crystals... that will have the ability to be their own blockchain ledgers as well.
