Blockchain & Artificial Intelligence
One of the clear places where I can see Blockchain intersecting with Deep Learning is in Machine Translations. The idea would be to have Translation Machines which translates words, small pieces of text or even entire documents in exchange for small amounts of crypto. I think someone needs to give Google Translate a run for their money. As the machines translate, they will learn as well. They will over time get much better at translations.
It would be a great tool for let's say neighboring African countries which speak so many dialects. If world citizens better understood each other, I guarantee you that we would have fewer wars and folks would probably also do more business.
The reality is that even Google Translate is moving at a slow speed. Established companies are also not going to focus on getting African dialects translated. It's just not as profitable as the other "exotic" world languages. So I feel there's a great opportunity to create a Blockchain backed Translation Systems which over time would morph into a General AI company.
it could have it's token like Numerai.
Maybe I'm a dreamer, but I think it's totally feasible to build such a system. The beauty of a Blockchain would be to offer solid verification for the translation data. If translated documents are hashed, stored in blocks and put on IPFS, it will always be easy to come back and verify who translated what to what, and when.
Nation states could even have official APIs or signed JSON files stored on IPFS again, and startups can just come and plug in their Learning Models and other data or translations from other languages. It would be then trivial to set up a Market Place for Translation Machines...
