I'm looking for an alternative too. Feature specific, it MUST be EXACTLY like Google Plus. I'm referring to the "Collections" feature.

In a nutshell: Visit a Steemit user's profile and be met with a feed of random posts that you have to dig through. It's very annoying. Tags won't help in this situation, that's only useful if you're using steemit as a search engine, not for those you've subscribed to.

On G+, all you had to do was click on a collection and find all like posts. I had about 4 collections on my G+, Nostalgia, Bitcoin, Things I Hate, Saturn Matrix. Collections are kinda like books. Open one up and be met with a continuous feed of progress on that collection. I'm going to have to rummage through some of the ones in this article too, but if anyone knows of one that is like steemit and G+ mixed.

I'm told that steemit atm, is not doing anything to implement new features, update or improve its current state. There are whales threatened by this type of change, especially since they rely on the tag system. It's terribly broken here and it either needs to be fixed ASAP, or I need to just hope there's a good alternative that fits these needs :/
