Russians dominate cryptocurrency development

Russia is one of the strong contributors to the growth of cryptocurrencies with the founders or co-founders of some of the most popular crypto currencies hailing from Russia. Ethereum, Waves, Steemit all these major currencies have Russian inheritage.
Now Russia’s Ministry of Health has partnered with state bank Vnesheconombank(VEB) for the development of a Blockchain-based system for secured exchange of the patient history in healthcare sector.

This partnership is considered to be the part of mandate by Russian government for the creation of a new interagency data-sharing system.
