Understanding the difference Between EOS and WORBLI
How WORBLI is leveraging the enhanced features of the EOS network to launch its own independent chain
With the launch of the EOS Mainnet, many exciting and innovative projects have taken the opportunity to build on their network. EOS is a distributed network infrastructure allowing developers to build and deploy decentralized applications. The EOSIO software allows for developers to leverage the enhanced features of this network. At WORBLI, we are one of the many projects doing this.
The WORBLI network is a code fork of the public EOS blockchain, allowing our network to benefit from the features of the EOSIO software whilst optimizing it for enterprise and financial operations. As we have control of our very own EOS independent blockchain, we are able to set different governance and rules compared to the main public chain.

The governance protocols on our WORBLI network have been designed to cater for enterprises and individuals who are seeking a financial services-focused framework that is efficient, legally compliant and cost effective.
Unlike the EOS public blockchain, the WORBLI network will be a centralized entity. We have designed the network this way in order to adhere to strict regulations and to attract enterprises who require structure and compliance with these regulations.

Just as the EOS public mainnet will have block producers running the network, WORBLI will also employ block producers but with a difference. EOS block producers are selected based on anonymous votes from the community whereas on the WORBLI network block producers are meticulously selected by our team based on compliance criteria.
In order to remain within regulations on our network, all block producers must be KYC/AML and regulation compliant entities. To show our support for the EOS ecosystem, WORBLI will continue to invest its time and resources into inter-blockchain communications.
Despite the distinctions, EOS and WORBLI are both committed to helping expand each network and bringing quality products to the distributed ledger technology space. Both ecosystems will complement each other as they both mature, creating a long-lasting and prosperous relationship in the future.

For example, many of the EOS block producer candidates are supporting WORBLI. WORBLI was a candidate to become a block producer on the EOS network. We helped to launch the EOS Mainnet in order to fast-rack the creation of ours. We understand the importance of this role and are excited to foster amazing Block Producer relationships.
WORBLI will be dropping 1 Billion “WBI” Tokens to the EOS Community on September 14, 2018. More info here
