Looks like it has been a second occurrence for CoinDash! They received two transactions from the hacker’s wallet.

CoinDash ICO has recently been a victim of a black-hat hacker who got his greasy fingers on the crowdfunding wallet and stole a large amount of Ethereum. He stole around $10 million worth of Ether tokens.

After some time and rumors about investigation something interesting happened — The hacker sent 488 ETH on September 12. Later, the hacker sent another sum of ETH totaling 10,000 ETH.

CoinDash said they hinted and spread the word about a criminal investigation, so this might have been the reason behind this abrupt “refund” from the black-hat hacker. The CoinDash ICO didn’t recover the full amount yet, there is even a possibility that the majority of the funds have been already spent. Although, a rapid investigation is said to be confirmed.

“We have notified the Counter Cyber Terrorist Unit in Israel, investigation efforts will increase. The hacker’s Ethereum address will continue to be tracked and monitored for any suspicious activity.” — These were the lines on CoinDash’s newest blog post update.

How did CoinDash get hacked?
They announced a public token sale — raising funds to develop a social trading platform. The hacker took control of the situation and disguised himself/herself as the company. The investors were sending their Ethers to a fake CoinDash wallet address resulting in a loss of $10 million.

CoinDash has to release a public announcement which would give more insight about the investigation.
