The Steemit platform has released a blog announcing that the Steemit platform is now fully operational after a chain halt due to a bug in the curations reward curve that occurred over the weekend. The Steemit team was able to develop a patch that did not require a hardfork, though it did require a replay of nodes that were used by steemit.com and other Steem applications like Steem Monsters. The Steemit team apologized for any inconvenience caused and promised to conduct a retrospective, the results of which will be shared on their website.
