Your pets know. I currently do not have any dogs, but my resident felines are on top of shit! The two males run growling to the door when they hear someone nearby. And when I am having a bad pain day my 30 pound dogcat will bring me my kids stuffed animals! He knows how bad it is, too, and will bring more if the pain is really bad <3
