New Demon is in the Town
The unveil of the Demon took the racing world, the movie, hip-hop and the auto industry jointly on one stage for a night that those who were there are implausible to stop thinking about it.
Leah Pritchett, who employed with Dodge engineers to idealize the car, said the toughest thing about her contribution in the Demon project was to maintain peace about it.
Dodge believed the Demon is the world’s fastest 0-60 production car. It can get there in 2.3 seconds and from 0-30 mph in 1 sec.
Dodge’s joint ventured with its cars that have show in the “Fast and Furious” movies and then brought the hip-hop rapper Wiz Khalifa to the occasion.
Following five new essentials about the Demon exposed by Dodge are:
The Demon V-8 ingests 173 cubic feet of air during a quarter-mile run which is parallel to the lung capacity of 816 humans.
High-octane fuel flows at 1.36 gallons/minute at rated power. A distinctive shower head flows at 2 gallons/minute.
It will covered 800 feet into a quarter-mile run
At start up, more than 1 ton of force is transmitted from the front to rear wheels.
The car creates so much initial force that brakes alone will not grasp it, so the car relies on transmission locks.
