I love just quietly questioning the "why not" of so many superstitious beliefs & old customs. Sometimes I follow them only not to give offence to the Elders. A nice post questioning what some would say is unquestionable. Thank you.

Yes, even I do the same. Specially when it's with mom, just do it to not have any arguments :-)
