[Major] Hypebeast Update: 06/26/2018

It's been a little while since the last Hypebeast update, and for good reason. The project has gone through a significant refactoring, rebranding, and rebuilding. I'm excited to announce new platform, Swing of the Day.

Swing of the Day is set to be a short-term trend analyzer and investment assistant. It takes core fundamental concepts, creative sentiment analysis, and a few tricks behind the scenes to generate daily recommendations for entering swing trading position. In essence, it tells you which stocks appear more promising as short-term trades.

The current state of the project is a vertical slice, demonstrating the ability to look up and analyze stock data from the awesome https://iextrading.com/ API. The platform currently analyzes the previous trading day's dollar volume, simple moving average, exponential moving average, and closing swings over the last three trading days. Additional features are in active development, and final UI designs are in the works.
