Continue To Teach

Like Carnegie Credit, so you just, you block out different parts of the instruction and as they learn that skill set, then they're done with that one. You move them on to the other one. And if you have regular people coming into the program, you can then continue to teach those different skill sets to new people as the other ones advance to more skill sets.

And when they leave it, they have a skill. Because one of the, what they call criminogenic factors is a person doesn't have an education to be able to support themselves. And if you start to give those education, and some people's motivation for change is triggered by different stuff.

Some people it's math, and some people it's religion, but other people it's learning a skill set that makes them feel good about themselves. If you just get them sober and get them to hang out with the right people now, you might actually be successful at reducing recidivism. If you begin to think of reducing recidivism as incremental, that's the right way to go.

Right now everybody thinks they're just all going to be saved if we just put them in a class. That isn't going to happen. Yeah.

Chief, did you ever tell any of them what we have here is a failure to communicate? I didn't say that, but I will say one of the programs I worked on was with Kamala Harris. And it was an excellent program. I met her once.

I wasn't all that impressed with that meeting, but the program No. She wasn't impressed? No, she wasn't. She made some comment about me outside of my earsight, outside of me after I left.

But that's okay. I didn't mind. Yeah.
