Feel Like The Democrats
He's like, you're damn right. Well, I mean, the deal is, like you said, like to be I am a hardliner on immigration. That's no question about that.
But at the same time, I know how Congress works. OK, like I understand that you can't always get everything that you want and you cannot be on the far fringes and get anything done. And I'm wheeling and dealing.
If you can get something worthwhile out of it, I think that's definitely worth doing. So, you know, that's the kind of thing. It's just the way it works.
You know, Trump actually proposed giving the amnesty to the DACA people back in his first term, you know, in exchange to, you know, get rid of some of those people. And the Democrats rejected that outright. I didn't hear, you know, much pushback from Republicans because they never really made it that far.
But, you know, he was trolling, you know, Pelosi and Schumer, in my opinion, and he floated it out there and they pushed back on it like crazy. Yeah, that's why I think that they're like exactly what Michael's saying. Like, honestly, I just feel like the Democrats are trying to take advantage of the flow of illegal immigration.
And they're not actually serious about actually dealing with the problems that comes with it. And I don't know, I feel like conservatives should feel like that. We've seen it by seats.
We've seen it inflate census counts. So and Bernie Sanders came out the other day saying like, oh, yeah, we mess up the border, trying to probably loosen it towards this mass amnesty. But it's like, no, this has been a tactic by y'all, at least from what I'm seeing.
