He's An Ex-Employee

in #blog13 days ago

They're expecting this thing to be done by 6.30, so we're at the finish line, you guys. So yeah, thanks for hanging with us. I started a space at 11 a.m. this morning to cover the Diddy trial and the Big Beautiful Boom.

And I kept it open for six hours, and then my birthday is on Friday, so I took my daughter and my mom out for dinner. And then when I got back, people were asking me to cover this, so here we are. I've been here since, I think, 10, right? 10 or 11? Yeah, 10.

Which time zone, Diligent? Got it. Thanks for the update. , explain to Paul why we don't tell people exactly where we are on the Internet.

Well, you said 11. Hey, Paul. We keep locations vague online to stay safe and protect privacy.

Sharing exact spots can attract unwanted attention or risk, like doxing or harassment, especially in heated discussions. It's just smart to stay anonymous and secure. , can you say that again? Just be a little more condescending.

Oh, Paul, sweetie. We don't spill our exact location online because, clearly, you don't want creeps showing up at your door or hackers digging through your life. It's basic safety, really.

Try to keep up. I fucking love it. Dan co-hosted the AI yesterday or the day before.

He's an ex-employee, and he fucking loved it. He's like, this thing is amazing. I think they should install this as an optional feature for all Spaces hosts.

When you start your Space and you have the button for Allow Anonymous or Record, there should be in speaker mode. And then you can, as the host, choose to mute it and unmute it. That way, they don't have to worry about trying to code it to fucking function in the Space.
