I Can See The Groove
So when I actually when I went and popped up, popped it open, then I can see it's slightly different. It's got those little squares and little plates like on it. Because when I'm looking at it in the phone, I don't see the plates.
I'm seeing it as just a grayscale value, just values is what I'm seeing. That's why I thought of pencil at first. So I see how this would be a great reference picture to recreate on paper with pencil.
That's what we do. Zero graphite. So when I work in inks, I will work with watercolor first and get a wash, get my base down.
And then from there, I'll use straight ink. I don't go pencil at all simply because I don't like the effect that I don't have a light enough hand. It bothers me if I can see the groove at all, anywhere.
This is sort of the way I see artists utilizing AI is for setting out concepts or ideas and then, you know, putting your hand to it and creating something from that. I think that's, you know, it's just like when you use photography for, you know, taking pictures of texture or things that just catch your eye or whatever. And you have that repository.
