What actually ended up happening was it backfired on them. They actually galvanized the country more. There are even more patriots right now.

They're singing the national anthem. Now they're actually standing behind the ISIL. Because here's the thing, a lot of people in the government didn't like the ISIL.

A lot of people didn't like the theocracy. So there was a fracture there, but after they were attacked by Israel, who better hit back at them? And guess what Iran did? Both parties in their government said, okay, you know what, they hit us. We can't do diplomacy with the West anymore.
