Right. As I shot a video there, I made the point. So for decades now, we've got total disaster in Oakland, especially total lawlessness.
Like, you know, businesses being impossible to get in and out, closing their all this nightly on carjacking, violence. The poorest communities hurt the most for decades now that's been going on in Oakland. So obviously, it's just a disgusting squalor.
You drive around. You cannot believe you're in America. You go across the Bay to San Francisco.
I was just there. Was it last Friday? I was there. Open air drug markets, just absolute mayhem and chaos.
And you just think, what is going on? And then you've got President Trump saying, I want to deal with this and I want to use federal resource to help clean it up. And then what's the response of the years of these actual problems? Not a peep out of the Democrats. No protest about what's going on there.
Suddenly, when you've got the president trying to help, now they're out on the street protesting. And then last night you saw this attack on the Coast Guard. They're trying to protect their base.
You had a U-Haul truck accelerate into them. Incredible bravery and coolness of the officers there. And you realize this is not just a protest.
This is political violence. And it is violence that is completely ramped up by Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass and all these Democrats who are demonizing law enforcement that have been for years. And it's just disgusting.
And they're really revealing whose side they're on. And we've got to be really clear about it and say, sorry, this has to end. We've got to protect the rule of law.
We've got to support law enforcement. And we just can't have the situation where what's going on with everything in California these days where basically if you do the right thing, you're punished. And if you do the wrong thing, you're rewarded.
That's what has to change. Wonderful, wonderful. I totally agree.

And you have a Republican elected governor. That is the biggest rebuke to this disastrous one party rule. And then we've got to really take it beyond that and let Republicans at every level and turn this state around and show these people they're not going to get away with it forever.
