The provision that if they had a criminal record, they would just be disqualified under DACA status would be relinquished too. So that was another big one that was taken away that for me was like, sorry, can't just like, you know, like they already broke one rule, federal rules, can't, you can't reward them if they're after they've been extended a courtesy, they went ahead and committed crimes, right? So, again, it's, I don't believe it's intentional. I didn't see anything to prove it.
I could speculate like you are that it's suspicious. But I've never seen anything or had any conversation that led me to believe that there was nefarious intent. Appreciate that.
Appreciate well, the people that are have co opted this bill have definitely malicious intent. I'll say that because this whole section on limitation on removal is insanity. In this to me, you know, this needs to be killed immediately, because just the idea of it, this would go directly against the entire idea of what Trump wants to do with deportations in this country.
I mean, this is a complete and total counter to everything we just won. So, you know, I'm going to put out this section here, because people need to see this. But it is it is as bad as you can possibly think it is.
That's for sure. So that needs to this needs to be addressed immediately. And I'm going to be lobbying instantly to kill it in committee.
So that you know, Walter, just so you know, my version of the Dignity Act had, well, not my version, forgive me, my version with my involvement, which I thought was a pretty conservative approach, or as conservative as it can be. Okay. Right.
