You see, to me it preaches that, as far as, it preaches that it is okay to forgive. Dove put me through the lesson of forgiveness, which means it is okay for me to forgive because forgiveness gives me peace. And makes me, you know, have peace generally.
And then dove is telling me again that it is okay if I finally act to forgive. Because those who preaches forgiveness are not in my shoes. They don't know what I'm going through.
I know there is this common thing when you're telling people your story and they'll be like, I understand. I'm trying to put myself in your shoes. So if I am to be in your shoes, I will also forgive.
It is easier said than done. Unless you are truly in that situation. That's why it is wrong to say you want to put yourself in someone's shoes when they are going through the problem.
It is very wrong. And it says, the preachers of forgiveness are those that dance on roses. And that is true.
Those that find it very easy to forgive. Sometimes, I've not even experienced the depth of pain the person telling you has gone through. So it is easy for you to preach it.
Because you haven't gotten to that stage of pain yet. Which was the twist of the poem. So thank you very much.
They are telling that it is okay if I choose not to forgive. Because my pain is real. Yet, they are telling that if I find a way to forgive, I should just go ahead and forgive.
