They're Pretty Damn Good.

Well, maybe they recently had a sedentary in Tehran. Well, in any case, the point... Not in the dead form, he was there as a visitor. The point that he made was the Israelis had such a deep level of granular penetration that if you've got a major counterintelligence operation in your own country that's actually working for the other side, how much information on the people they were watching inside the Iranian government was ported over to Israel before they were discovered and taken out? And that information went into Israeli computers and Israeli AIs, which, you know, word is, they're pretty damn good.

So, understand that all of that information is part... has been ported into templates that were developed over decades in dealing with terrorist operations and tracking down everyone who's in the bloodline of specific high-ranking people. That is, in fact, how we got to that. Yeah, but Trent, I appreciate that, but my question is actually more specific and I'll try to reframe it.

You know, when we talk about what Trump has, Trump has all of these options, right? He wants all the options on the table and he's going to use whichever one and, you know, pivot to one versus the other if, you know, need be. With Iran and the regime and specifically even the IRGC, they also have these options. We're presuming that they have these options, right? So, if they have these options and we're moving past the actual, like, military assets, the, you know, the tanks and the launchers, etc., and we're talking about it outside of that, the non-kinetic strategies that they have, the options that they have, wouldn't you think that, and I want to hear your thoughts real quick on this, Trent, too, but I want to also go to John and Laz and some others.

Don't you think that this could be one of their, quote, weapons that they use to disrupt this whole thing and come out on the other side? Look, I expect that the IRGC copies some of the plans from Saddam's regime for having a, what amounts to, like, Nazi werewolves in terms of pathogen and whatnot to defeat any sort of occupation. The problem for that particular plan is you've got to have some level of mass public support to pull that off, and given that the regime has killed tens of thousands of people within the last few months, and they've trained basically two generations of Iranians to be very eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, you hurt my family, my family will hurt you forever. I don't, there's a whole lot of blood shoots that have been inculcated into Iran based on that culture and what the regime security forces did to the Iranian people.

That's why the Israelis have so much cooperation, because you have got lots and lots of people who are basically in blood feuds against the regime and against the mullahs and their extended bloodlines. So when I look at this, I'm looking at this from the sociology of Iran, and I'm looking at it from the point of view that you've got to meet payrolls, because Saddam's regime had lots of foreign currency and gold that it hid out and used to fund the uprisings, the Sunni uprisings against American occupation forces in Iraq. And what beat that was essentially the co-belligerence of Iran and the Shia.

I appreciate the thought experiment you've presented, it's certainly making me consider the potential consequences of granular intelligence operations. Your writing style is engaging and easy to follow! 💡📝👍
