Whatever It Is

And it goes back to the old story of the beach when a man is walking on the beach and he sees two sets of footprints and it's him and God and Jesus is walking with him. And then eventually he only sees one set of footprints and he says to Jesus, why have you abandoned me? And that's when he answers, no, I haven't abandoned you. I was carrying you because you had abandoned me.

And I think in a wholesome way, I think it's the best way is for us to really walk the path of faith, whichever faith you believe in, whether it's Catholicism, Christianity, on the evangelical banner, or if it's Judaism or Islam or whatever it is you believe in, right? Believe in something and work on your belief system, because I fully believe in miracles. And now I've experienced one because I was in solitary confinement. The warden denied me a rosary and a Bible for some odd reason.

You can't have those things, I guess, in solitary. And I couldn't do either. So I figured out how to pray on my own.

I was just, you know, I guess my own version of my relationship with God. And fast forward, I get released after 41 days, I get released from the shoe. And then seven days later, a visiting priest comes and I go to confession.

He offers me confession. I go to confession. That's on Thursday, the 16th of October.
