杜甫草堂Du Fu Thatched Cottage

in #blog2 months ago

The most I want to see when I come to Chengdu is definitely Du Fu Thatched Cottage. For this reason, I got up early the next day and took a taxi straight to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, in order to see more, I walked along the path that the Poet Saint had walked, see the thatched houses where the Poet Saint had lived, and felt the poet's concern for the country and the people.

The current Du Fu Thatched Cottage was not built by Du Fu in the past. Du Fu led his family to his territory and settled here due to the An Lushan Rebellion. However, after he left, the thatched cottage basically disappeared. The current thatched cottages are mostly built during the Ming and Qing dynasties based on the living conditions of this realistic poet.

The most attractive attraction is still the thatched cottage scenic area where Du Fu lived before his death. Although it was imitated by later generations, based on the poems passed down by the poet, one can also imagine the poet's situation at that time. Coming to Chengdu, Caotang is a must see attraction because here we can better understand the poet and experience his past situation.

Entering the thatched cottage hidden in the jungle, with walls and grass, tables and chairs, it seems that one can see that a thousand years ago, the Poet Saint lived and worked here, worrying about the world first, and living in dire straits, even worrying about the country and its people. The thatched cottage is divided into halls, bedrooms, study, kitchen, etc., all of which restore the living area of the time.

The thatched cottage is very large, and this is just a part of it. There are also many scenic spots inside that welcome you to visit.
