NOT ALL DOMES ARE EQUALLY EFFECTIVE!

The biggest problem of dome housing is lack of professionals. A lot of people are getting orders for domes without deep understanding of energy-efficiency, domes architecture and unique physical properties. Their main motivation is to make money and build a dome for somebody. And it leads to problems for the clients when they start living there. Mold around the walls, overexpences for cooling (or heating) - just a couple of examples.

Before we started to build the Dreamdome we did deep research and compared more than 10 different dome technologies about cost, insulation, construction period, durability, e.t.c. Only after that we chose the best one - geodesic dome, made of insulated concrete sandwich panels.

So remember, that dome shape itself doesn’t guarantee the quality. You have to find the best technology according to your climate. For instance, what is working in Russia will not work in Thailand.
