Amer Fort, also called Amber Fort, is one of India's biggest architectural wonders.This old monument has stood tall above Maota Lake for many centuries.

Amer Fort was built in 1592 under the rule of Raja Man Singh I.
His son and later ruler, Mirza Raja Jai Singh, played a big role in developing and expanding the site.The construction took a very long time because of how big the project was, and it took almost 100 years of hard work to finish.So, to build such a beautiful architectural masterpiece, master builders had to put in a lot of time and effort.
