And The Capitol Press

in #blog20 days ago

So they say that the process takes between eight months and a year and it's like a huge bureaucratic process in between. But what it is, it's controlled by a cartel called the Congress or the what the House Press Gallery, the Congressional Correspondents Association, I think, where they and they're the ones that get to decide. And it's all it's run by a board of, you know, NBC, CBS, Washington Post.

And they're the ones that decide whether or not you get a fucking breast pad. I mean, it's like, how is that even a thing? You know, I don't know. I'm actually not going to be careful.

What's like the White House Press Association? Why don't you guys stick this in the bill? That's what I want to know. But wait, so you guys remember when a bunch of us were purged from Breitbart, like me and Jen, Milo, like there were like nine of us who got purged. It was because Breitbart got denied their congressional pass and left like some of the more interesting writers were cut.

It's literally why we all got purged at the same time. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't AP win their lawsuit against the White House for private access? Nope. Nope.

So that one did fail. I mean, they won with the low court and then all of a sudden the appeals court actually overturned it. But they're still not there.

And it's not the same anyways. The White House press access and the Capitol press access are not the same. And the Capitol press access system is very fucking convoluted, dude.
