I Feel Like By Winning The House

We can never, ever, and this is sad, but it's the truth. And what I'm about to say, Mr. ADD over here, we can never, we can never just relax. And on one hand, that's shameful to think that we can never just, oh, I can just sit here and chill out for five freaking minutes.

But on the other hand, think of the gift that we're celebrating, 250 years of the greatest country to ever exist. And so when you think about it, it's actually, in the bigger picture, a small price to pay to inherit the gift that we've received as Americans. Think of the generations.

Think of the sacrifices that have come before us. And my ass can't drag myself to a city council meeting because it's 7 o'clock at night and I'd like to go to bed in time before my early wake-up call. So while it's incredibly frustrating, and it's our right as Americans to be frustrated with how ridiculous this system is and the corruption that is involved on so many levels here.

But at the same time, when you take a step back and you go, wow, we were born in this time, in this place, in this country. Yeah, I think I can go down to the city council meeting. Yeah, I think I can call my congressman's office.

Yeah, I shouldn't have to, but the fact that I even have that ability, wow, that's pretty awesome. There's not a lot of countries that can say that. Absolutely.

And we do need to count our wins as well. We did wrangle, didn't really get rid of, but wrangle USAID, right, which was a slush fund for Democrat pet projects and probably more, right? Oh, yeah. So even though DOJ didn't accomplish what Elon wanted it to accomplish, it did highlight a lot of things.

And I'm with you, Keith. I feel like by winning the House and Senate, all we've really done, and a lot of it through executive orders, put our fingers, all 10 of them, in the dike on things. We stopped a lot of bleeding, right? But by not codifying those things, they can just start again the minute they win, which then makes it more important for us to not let them win.
