The Things That We Dread
The thing that I was analyzing now not analyzing but vibrating with was your way to deliver. Because I talked about the genius of your phrases but now I want to talk about your way to deliver which is a perfect symbiosis with the words you're reading and the highs the lows, the paces, the stops and your relaxation. That's the first thing that comes up when I listen to you.
You sound so relaxed. And I think real creativity is to relax so much that it just flows through us. We don't think.
Height means nothing without roots. My roots. Oh, my roots.
They were long. They were growing long before anyone noticed. Before I noticed.
Quiet work. Invisible work. The kind of work that saves you when the skies turn violent.
They pushed through stone. They curled around resistance. They drank from darkness.
Because nourishment is not always found in the light. One day, the keeper came. Blade in hand.
We don't analyze. We don't go back to concepts or whatever. We just flow.
And creativity we can call it light, God, love I don't care the name. Flows through us. I call it creativity.
The creation. The creator. That's why.
That's what I like about you. I like everything about you but your relaxation that is... For every interior condition there is an exterior example. And so it is reversed.
And when you use these metaphors of things that we can see that we can relate to ourselves then this helps folks to remember and to bring this back home. And the trees would die without the storms and the wind because in the xylem and phloem the water is pushed up to the new growth during these storms and the winds. And the things that we dread and fear are for our betterment and for our growth just like the trees.
