To Actually Make A Dent

That's why the Israelis have so much cooperation, because you have got lots and lots of people who are basically in blood feuds against the regime and against the mullahs and their extended bloodlines. So when I look at this, I'm looking at this from the sociology of Iran, and I'm looking at it from the point of view that you've got to meet payrolls, because Saddam's regime had lots of foreign currency and gold that it hid out and used to fund the uprisings, the Sunni uprisings against American occupation forces in Iraq. And what beat that was essentially the co-belligerence of Iran and the Shia.

Basically, the Americans beat down the Sunni militias in urban areas, and then kill squads of Shia supported by Iran went in and started killing regime, you know, Saddam's regime people. And the Anbar uprising was rural Sunnis realizing that unless they swayed sides to the Americans, that eventually the Shia kill squads would come for them. So when I'm looking at Iran, I'm looking at it with that history in mind.

And the Israelis have got a whole lot of people inside Iran that think they're the bees knees, because not only are they killing the enemies of a lot of the Iranian people, but they're doing it with low collateral damage weapons. You've got people, we've seen the videos of people sitting outside cheering as airstrikes go in and take out regime security force facilities. See, that's where I think there's a misunderstanding and a miscalculation.

But I want to slowly start to wrap up the space and get to some of the hands. But I hope that you stay and join us again tomorrow as well. But this is what I want to say to that.

I think we're misinterpreting or misunderstanding the number of people that still support the regime or the system or the ideology. I think we assume that just because we see some videos of people cheering that Khamenei was killed, that that speaks to everybody in the country. And I don't know if that's necessarily 100% accurate enough to actually make a dent to what you're referring to.
