We Play It Straight.

You know, that's why you've got to keep your mind open. You keep your mind open no matter how old you are, you can learn. The young can learn from the old; the old can learn from the young. And what happens is that we put it all together, and we come out. Let's honor them with the music. Let's honor them with the love. Let's carry on for them. Let's show that life we play it with love. We play it with respect. You know, we gon' play the other game.

It's for especially for HR. The thing is we're legit. We're not out there breaking no heads, taking nothing, doing nothing wrong. We're out there trying to bring some joy. We ain't, you know, going in nobody's pocket, doing some dirt because we don't do that. We play it straight.

That was beautiful. We talked about this. I relate to this in a literal way.

But maybe that's a conversation for a FaceTime. It's a beautiful poem. Beautiful, beautiful poem by a beautiful, beautiful soul.

I love that kind of courage, and that's what I'm hoping to inspire in others with all this, is just to get past the things we're scared of and do the things, because on the other side of that fear is almost always something magical, and the fear is the one thing standing between us and that.
