RE: A Review of The Viva Whitepaper

in #blog8 years ago

Well I still have quite a few questions about VIVA. I'm not a business owner, I work at a restaurant and I write fiction in my spare time that isn't selling yet. So I guess you could call me a schlub who is very interested in cryptocurrency. Having said that, I don't see why I shouldn't be rewarded as much as a business owner who is "helping the community" because he already had capital to help the community with. I'd love to get in on the ground floor and buy a crown with the hard-earned money that I make working at my restaurant serving customers. But I don't really want to rent out space on my computer and I don't want to rent out processor speed either. I don't even know if this would even increase electricity costs - I didn't see anything about that in the white paper. That leaves me with this question" if I don't want to rent out my PC and I'm not a business owner or anybody who is supposedly helping the community, am I still going to get paid? Because let's face it - it comes down to making money and I'd like to get involved with the VIVA community, maybe buy a crown, and make some money with it despite not apparently meeting criteria because I'm just some guy working at a restaurant. What am I missing here? Is there still a way for me to make money by buying a crown?

Well jeezzle I'm still reading and learning about the intricacies. However I imagine you do need to participate in the network directly if you want to be a crown holder. There are responsibilities associated with owning a crown. however I believe there are numerous other ways to be involved. I'd recommend joining the viva chat at : https://chat.vivaco.in/channel/general

Thanks for your reply. I am all on board with participating with the network....... I just don't want my electricity cost to go up . We all know mining Bitcoin is prohibitively expensive on your electricity bill, and I know that this isn't mining but I'm certain it could max out your processor speed or something like that. I'm also afraid I don't have much to offer in terms of what they might be looking for, business assets etc.. Maybe I am wrong though and I will certainly check out that chat because I like the look of it... I would certainly be willing to put 8 hours a day everyday to make that $46,000 a year they mention in the white paper.
