How do you think which is the first certificate should be gained if I'll devode to pass Azure exams?
I would recommend the foundamental exams, for example: AI-900, AZ-900, DP-900 and SC-900
!ask How do you think which is the first certificate should be gained if I'll devode to pass Azure exams?
If you’re starting out with Azure exams, the best “first certificate” for most people is usually:
1) AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- Easiest entry point and a great overview of cloud concepts + core Azure services
- Helps you understand the terminology and big picture before you go deeper
- Good even if you’re not sure yet whether you want admin/dev/data/security
After AZ-900, the “next” one depends on your goal:
- Administration / Operations: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate)
- Development: AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate)
- Data / Analytics: DP-900 → DP-203
- Security: SC-900 → (then) AZ-500 or SC-200/SC-300
- AI: AI-900 → AI-102
If you tell me your background (IT admin, developer, beginner) and what job you’re aiming for, I can suggest the best exact path.

If you’re starting the Azure path, I’d recommend AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) as the first certificate.
- It gives you the core concepts (cloud basics, Azure services, pricing, governance, security basics) without going deep into hands-on admin work.
- It makes the later exams much easier, because you’ll already understand the “Azure language” and how Microsoft structures services.
After AZ-900, the “best next first role-based cert” depends on your goal:
- Administration / operations: AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate)
- Development: AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate)
- Security: AZ-500 (Azure Security Engineer)
- Data / analytics: DP-900 first (optional), then DP-203
- AI: AI-900 first (optional), then AI-102
If you tell me whether you’re aiming for admin, dev, security, or data, I can suggest the cleanest sequence (and what to study first).

Thank yoy for your answer. I'll try to look on them closerl.
Honestly I have some experience with aws or azure on work, but now I have problems with creating personal account and don't know what to choose, from what to start. Anyway in this year I have target to get my first certificate.
