Gmail has been rate limiting because of Spamming activities from Wordpress

I have been using Gmail as the primary email service for WordPress notification emails. However, the site has attracted a significant amount of spam activity. Last week, some spam was not properly filtered, which caused WordPress to send a large volume of notification emails. This triggered Google’s automated safeguards, and my account was rate-limited for 24 hours, preventing me from sending outgoing emails (emails to myself were still allowed).

To prevent this from affecting my main email account in the future, I have switched WordPress notifications to a separate backup Gmail account. This isolates notification traffic and avoids any impact on my primary email.
