Ingredients

• 2 oz tequila (preferably reposado or blanco)
• 1 oz coffee liqueur
• 1 shot fresh espresso
• 0.5 oz simple syrup (optional)
• Ice

Instructions

• Add tequila, coffee liqueur, espresso, and syrup to a shaker with ice.
• Shake hard for 10–15 seconds.
• Strain into a cocktail glass.
• Garnish with coffee beans.
