Weekend Memories at the Soft Play

A few years ago, when the kids were still little, we would take them to soft play almost every weekend. We often went together with a friend’s family — the adults would sit nearby, having coffee and chatting, while the kids played happily: going down slides, crawling through tunnels, exploring different play areas, and enjoying the sections specially designed for younger children.

I remember there was a soft play place in Bedford (about a 30-minute drive from Cambridge) that we used to visit quite often for a period of time. We even got a membership. Ironically, after signing up, we ended up going less and less due to various things happening in life.

Now that the kids have grown older, soft play is no longer really suitable for them. These days, they are much more interested in their phones.
