Why I Book Two Microsoft Exams on the Same Day

Booking AB-731 AI Transform Leader Next Friday (before AZ-104)!

Previously, I mentioned that I’ve scheduled the AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AAA) exam for next Friday. I’ve also booked the AB-731 AI Transform Leader exam on the same day, just before AZ-104.

I did something similar last week — I booked the AB-730 exam at the last minute on Thursday, right before taking the AZ-204 Microsoft Azure Developer Associate exam next day on Friday. It worked out well, and I passed both.

The test center is quite far from me — about 27 miles each way (roughly a 50-minute drive). I prefer taking exams at a test center to avoid the hassle of setting up the online exam software and preparing the room environment.

Since it’s not a trivial journey to and from the test center, I prefer to schedule two exams on the same day if possible, rather than making the trip twice. Also, a simple exam before a hard one helps to boost the confidence!

I use Pearson VUE, which allows a maximum of two exam bookings at a time.
