Burning Bridges.

in #blog6 years ago (edited)

Burning bridges isn't exactly a forte for a lot of good people but some things are better done than ignored, especially when it has to do with one's peace of mind.

Over time, we will learn that some things, events, and people can hurt us pretty badly. Could be a little loss here, a bit of betrayal over there, maybe a streak of loneliness, moments of regret, disappointments, etc. Those moments suck.

However, as we mature with time, we learn to cut our losses and move on, even when it might be difficult to do so. And in some extreme cases where the situation requires it, we take very bold steps to burn bridges so we can never go back.

Sometimes, limiting your options is the only way to sustain the march forward. Yours starts here.

Hmmmm deep @pangoli

Happy to inspire.

Groot what?

I was starting to reflect on the weight and meaning of the words and was interrupted with images from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Lol. I am Groot.

Don't focus too much on things that happened in the past, learn from them and move on! :)

Very deep! It is sometimes necessary to burn bridges...tough though

I agree, dear

I've always found ways to increase ny options ...that's why I want to be rich.
But,this is the first time im seeing a phrase about limiting options, but i agree with you.
Sometimes amnesia is learned.

Limiting options is focus. Limiting options that might have to take you backwards is burning the bridges, which sometimes, is important.

Sometimes amnesia is learned.

Self-taught amnesia. An attractive form of discipline.
