Why we write:what drives you aside financial rewards?

At the time I registered on this great platform I know of several others who did too, most of whom are no longer active or have completely left.

This does not mean that they do not see the potential steemit have or they fail to see that this could turn out to be a life changing platform.

It however, could mean that writing articles regularly or reading and commenting on fine articles could be difficult,so much so that even with the financial motivation involved they have decided to raised their white flag, bowed out.

Reasoning from this premise, one can conclude then that some of us write because of several other motivating factors.

George orwell,a famous writer of his time and someone we still celebrate his works down to this day has this to say on why we write......

Orwell in his essay of 1946 tittled "why I write",thinks there are several reasons why we write.

One of such is "to be remembered after death",he believes writers desires to leave their footprints in the sands of time for the world.

Someone who pointed out a truth and allowed an audience to see a reality they never knew existed before,or make them see things from another angle.

While the idea of writing for posterity is alluring,I write so that I will remember,I write so that several months or years from today I can still scroll down my blog and see my thoughts process,months/years gone by.

I once had a diary that I fondly called"the mental house",it truly was my cocoon, where I ran to and wrote down how I felt at a certain point in time.

After a while I will flip through it's pages and read my thoughts on a certain subject, social issue, see if I still hold that view or my reasoning have changed over time.

So yes! I write to remember, while the internet documents some and hopefully not loose them, for me to also leave something behind for others to read, Ultimately,I write so I won't forget.....steemit just became my new diary on issues and subjects I love to write on.

He believes writers are people in love with word play, people who derive joy in the impact of one sound or another, they love the beauty words could have,it is like poetry.

Every writer I believe is in love with his writing style,he does appreciate other writers, admires them even, and try to pick one or two tricks from them to his own writing style while not trying to completely loose himself.

If not for the beauty they see in their writing creations, some will actually stop writing.

From time, writing have been a part of me,weaving words together have always made me happy.

Between writing for the love of words tapestry,so I can remember my thoughts process at a particular time, and the financial rewards I am not sure which one tops my list, what I am quite sure of however,is that the trio goes hand in hand.
