Yeah, I never had problems with coil whine before, but what I'm experiencing fits the symptoms exactly. It's not something to worry about though, just an annoying sound.
Yeah lol. It was a fan that was unique to the card, so it required a little improvisation. Well, as long as it won't melt or start a reading fire. If it gets too annoying, some nose cancelling headphones might be a solution...
Yeah, I figured I'll just have to start listening to music more :D
