RE: Tips And Tricks For Beginner Blog Marketing..

in #blog7 years ago

Dear Fact Monster,
It is very frowned upon on steemit to "borrow" someone else's material even if you modify it or change it a little. If you Copy and Paste it, that is Plagiarism.

Before you post 3 more posts like this, please consider what you want for a future on Steemit. Or this account could be ruined and there is no good in that.

Original, new and unique material and content is encouraged here on the Steemit platform.

I hope, with a little work and effort, you have something beneficial to share.
Thx

Dear public eye, these are PLR articles and I believe anyone is free to share them anywhere for any purpose and the photos are from pixabay and i believe they too are copyright free and can be used for all purposes. I never meant to offend anyone, or bring harm to this platform. But I think that sharing PLR articles isn't plagiarism. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hey, I found this in the Steemit FAQ section - "Using random pictures from the internet without giving credit is discouraged. You may, however, use photos from “free image” websites such as Pexels.com or Pixabay.com. All photos on Pexels and Pixabay are free for personal and commercial use."

So, i guess it's okay to use pixabay pictures.

Hey @public-eye, after some research, i think copy paste is not a great help for the platform. It seems that only quotes, facts and related content is allowed to be copy-pasted without asking for trouble. So, on a personal front, i won't copy paste any long article, be it a plr article. Even if i'm to, I will make sure that i have made necessary changes and has made the article much better.

But also on a personal front, just my opinion, isn't it unfair for cheetah to mark plr articles. Yes, cheetah's function is to identify similar articles, but i'm against it's functionality of marking plr articles as copied articles. Maybe that should change... Just my opinion though..

But anyways, thanks for your notification.

Maybe i'll a write a post with this whole story!!

Also it's really hard for beginners not knowing about these things... I just wanted to post and that's it. Maybe there also be something crisp to help out the newbies from getting into trouble
