I'm Afraid of Elevators

I've always been claustrophobic. Elevators are always a horrible experience for me. They are small and tight. I've got a fear that the cables will snap and I'll plummet to my death. When other people are in the elevator with me I feel crowded and suffocating. As soon as the doors snap shut my heart moves to my throat. I have trouble breathing...Elevators suck. I take the stairs most of the time. It's good exercise to climb the stairs.
