RE: Woohoo. I may have corona!

in #blog5 years ago

Drink hot, not warm, hot water and tea constantly. I know there’s no such official recommendations but this is just my personal theory as a doctor. The family coronavirus belongs to...their replication and thus further growth is halted by heat. So constantly drinking hot water will lessen the burden of the virus on your body, if you do in fact have the corona.

Well there's no harm in a hot tea so I'll give it a try 🤭😂

The key is to keep drinking something hot over and over, throughout the day. Every time you drink water, make sure it's hot.

You know, there's no science to really support this, but i've come down with a bad cold/weak flu a few times in the last couple of years. But I find I start doubting myself because they disappear in 24 hours each time, which I feel I should contribute to the fact that my response is to go to bed fully dressed, wrapped in dressing gown, under thick sheets, heater and air conditioner on hot full power and I just heatstroke myself to semi-death.

Wake up feeling pretty good. It just happened yesterday too. Had a crazy fever and night chills. Blasted myself with heat and by the following afternoon, I was fine.

The concept is the heat kills off the bacteria/virus which just isnt true. But there is some study going on that shows heat improves performance of immune cells?

No it doesn’t. It slows down the replication of the virus by inhibiting certain enzymes which do not work well in the heat.

This is well proven and accepted. Enzymes work under very, very specific conditions. Changes in those conditions denatures the enzymes.

And applying heat (such as taking warm menthol vape) is also shown to be affected for rhinovirus, which causes the common cold. (I'll try to find the reference, it was in a textbook). Rhino virus belongs to the coronavirus family. And studies recently published have also shown that this coronavirus doesn’t do too well in the heat, which is why it is advised to cook everything well before eating.

On a different note, it’s nice to hear you're feeling well. Hope you don’t have the corona. Keep us updated.

Of course this I know, when I say 'the concept', I mean 'the people who push this idea' (which I already stated isn't true)

I think for all the unknowns of this virus, we should assume its survivability is along the same lines as coronaviruses of the common cold etc; spreads less in warmer climates, cannot be contracted a second time etc.

So yeah my point is not to take my actions as a 'cure', but for some reason, I seem to be cured within a day anyway on numerous occasions. Maybe my body just rocks?

Well, you’ve been living in china and the pollution! The body has to develop It's defences 😁😁
