I'm happy to help people like you. I think Steemit is not quite ready for the big time. It's needs more development to handle millions of users, so it's not being promoted yet. I hope it will reach that point soon
I hope so too. The competitors are starting to line up. It would be a shame for steemit to end up like Myspace.
