1000 firefighters in los angelos
More than 1,000 firefighters went on Monday morning to the scene of the state's largest fire, which forced some 700 people to flee their homes in different neighborhoods.
According to the provincial president, the fire destroyed nearly 5,900 acres (about 2,400 hectares) and the fire broke out on Friday in three houses near the densely populated Greenland neighborhood.

Just saw a news update. I assume you are referring to the 'los tunas' fire. It looks like they are getting a bit of a handle on containing the blaze. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
