Car vs Deer
I just got woke up
The phone ringing woke me up. I knew something was wrong and answered the phone saying "What's wrong?" I hear him say "I just hit a deer" It was my husband on the other end, he had hit a deer on his way to work.
We just paid it off 5 days ago
We are hoping it is not totaled. As we just paid it off 5 days ago. The dealership we bought it at was bought out by another dealer so that 200,000 miles 20 year warranty if totaled will go away.
Thankfully my husband is okay
Thankfully my husband was not hurt and is okay. Sadly the deer is not. It is dead on the side of the county road my husband hit it on. I wanted to get a photo of it too but the cop would not allow me too because of how dark it is outside. He was afraid I would get hit.
We hope that the damage can be fixed
From what we could see in the dark the radiator is busted and the front end is messed up, hopefully that can be fixed and there are not other issues with it.
Can we catch a break now universe????

I am so sorry for you and your husband. He must have been shocked when the deer ran into his car. I hope there will be no more troubles and I hope the inspection of your house tomorrow at 1 am will go fine.

Same thing happened to me. To make it worse the little old lady behind me hit me and pushed the trunk into the back seat. Totalled my car $9,000.00 of damage. Loved that car so much. Never really got the value from the insurance company. I was not hurt and so glad your hubby was not hurt. Hope it works out for you
Ouch!! I literally had a deer hit MEE!! I was almost stopped and the thing literally ran up the hood legs splayed everywhere!!

I just read over at "the other place" that you were able to get it repaired. I'm happy about that and even more happy that your hubby is okay,
