⭐️ Hey Steemians, I travel to Kingstanding in North Birmingham — a town that online commenters often label as “racist” simply because of the huge amount of England flags on display. As an American, I wanted to see the truth for myself.

When I arrived, I witnessed more flags than I’ve ever seen in one neighborhood in my entire life. Many outsiders judge the whole community based on those flags alone — but the people I met told a very different story

I spent time walking the estate, talking with real locals, and getting honest perspectives about what it’s actually like to grow up in Kingstanding. I met a man with incredible energy who gave an unfiltered breakdown of the area, its reputation, and what the flags really mean. I also ran into one of my biggest kid supporters yet — easily one of the best moments of the entire trip.
