Great Pacific Northwest Adventure Blog - UFO and Big Foot Watch - Bald Mountain - Part Three - Conclusion

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

When we arrived at the camp spot, I was a bit leary of sleeping in a wide open field surrounded by giant pine trees. Yes, it was awesome being on a mountain breathing unpolluted air with wide open spaces and no street lights, traffic or airplanes spewing out their chemtrails. But...I had read a lot of the stories of UFO and Big Foot sightings on Bald Mountain and all around Washington State. Our guide and good friend Dr. Scotty had been their several times and relayed many of his personal experiences of seeing lights flash and even being surrounded by light. He also would hear noises coming from the surrounding woods. I had no doubt that the woods would also be full of hungry creatures .. black bears, brown bears, coyotes, wild cats, Big Foot, Aliens and God knows what else. Carin Sharin and I had already decided we were sleeping in the van, if we slept.

If you wish to read Part One and Part Two, just click the link below. You many want to at least view the amazing photos I was fortunate enough to get.

Smile for the camera!

The sun is beginning to set!

What an amazing view!

Wondering what is lurking on those woods? Hopefully Big Foot and not Teddy the Cougar!

It's going to be dark soon..

It's starting to get a bit spooky out here!

The moon is rising! At least the moonlight should help us see any approaching dangers.

What is that red streak in the sky? It's probably a reflection of Dr. Scotty's laser he was using to signal the UFO's.

What is that in the bushes? Oh wait, it is a photo from www.ufocasebook.com..sorry, I just had to throw this in to see if anyone was actually reading this.

Oh beautiful moon, how I have longed to be able to lie out in nature underneath the stars and gaze upon your glorious beauty without the interference of street lights and traffic noises!

What is that noise? Sounds like a kittens meow. Is that the laughter of children coming from the woods? I think I'll go join Carin Sharin in the van! We concluded that the meow was coming from a young cougar but we still don't know where the kid's laughter was. Possibly young Sasquatch as there were no other campers anywhere around!

I did experience sudden cold chills several times as if someone or something was standing behind me. I also felt as if something or someone was watching us from the woods. I finally got sleepy around midnight, grabbed my sleeping bag and headed for the van. I woke up several times with the feeling that Big Foot had been lurking around the van.

Dr. Scotty, Reese's Pieces and Lanie spent the entire night out in the field on cots. The next morning they recounted their experiences of seeing a bright light in the sky. Dr. Scotty was flashing his huge spotlight at the bright light and all three of them saw the light flash back at them.

I was going to add their photos and what they experienced that night, however I wasn't able to get them this week.

The next morning..Anybody hungry? What? Nobody brought coffee...Okay time to head back down the mountain!!

Alright..Home cooking

Where is the coffee!! OMG the best cinnamon bun I ever tasted and huge!

Carin Sharin hangin with the local bears and clutching what was leftover of her Cinnamon Bun

Wish I could take this back with me to the Big Island

Chatting with the owner of the Gift Shop and Resort next to Mountain Mamma's Home Cooking

This is where I plan to stay the next time I decide to go camping!

Borrow my friend's camper truck and fishing gear, throw the tailgate down and catch a "big one"!

They even have a swimming pool!

See you next year Mount Rainer!

My conclusion...yes, there was definitely something or someone in the woods and yes UFO's do exist. Would I go back? Yes but not this trip. I am ready to re-visit some of my favorite beaches, lakes, parks and restaurants here in the Puget Sound area before I return to the Big Island of Hawaii in October. I am too much of an Island girl to spend the winter here.

Yeppers, a great adventure!
