Look around you. The world isn’t flat; nor is it yours to do with as you will. Changes to it require a global consensus, and you’ll never get that so respect the piece of it you have and agree that none can ever damage it.

It isn’t red like we first thought, nor is it barren and lifeless. It is however, a clean start and a place where we can reflect on the mistakes our ancient ancestors made and promise to never repeat them.

We aren’t gay here, nor are we poor and rich or stupid and famous. We can’t make money because it doesn’t exist and even if it did, nobody would know what to do with it. Except maybe the scholars, because they alone can read the ancient texts and understand why it destroyed our old world.

Our people are simple; we are careful and considerate, and we learned quite quickly that our new home cannot be treated like our last. Our new home is our only home and it rewards us with its approval. It blesses us with food and rain. Yes, we had to create that, but now we have it, the world is thankful.

You can’t rule here, because we don’t listen even if you try. We are not alone here but we are diminished by the billions.
Only in our reduced numbers can you know that we were once a stupid civilization who thought we were technologically great and ruled that world.

The old world. The world that we destroyed. The one we can still see in the night sky; so blue and hazy, but so toxic and barren. Occasionally, some see flickers of light there, but others laugh at their imagination. Nothing can survive there anymore.
